colombiacoffeetours.com is an independent comparison of coffee farm tours and tastings in Colombia. We do not run tours, and we are not the website of any operator, including the Medellín tour company called Colombia Coffee Tour, whose tour is one of several listed here.

Who is behind this site

The site is run by Patrick Kühne, a travel publisher from Markkleeberg near Leipzig in Germany, who maintains a small group of comparison sites for day tours. The coffee pages are researched and kept up to date by him, without an agency or a sponsored editorial team.

What this site does

A Colombian coffee tour can be a six-hour day with lunch and pickup from your hotel in Medellín, a ninety-minute walk around a farm outside Salento that you reach by jeep, or a cupping session in a Cartagena tasting room with no farm at all. For each tour we write down the farm, how you get there, how long the whole trip takes compared with the time on the farm, and how big the group is. Where a listing leaves a point open, we say so instead of guessing.

How we earn money

When you book through one of our links, GetYourGuide or Viator pays us a commission from its margin. Your price stays the same. No farm or operator pays to be listed, and the tables are sorted by number of reviews, not by commission.

Where our data comes from

Prices, ratings and review counts come from the booking platforms’ interfaces and refresh automatically during the day. Farm names, transfers, meeting points and inclusions come from the tour pages themselves; where only reviewers name a farm, the table says so. Spotted something outdated? Write to us and we will correct it.

What we are not

We are not a tour operator, a coffee farm or a booking agency, and we are not affiliated with any operator named on this site, whatever its name. Every booking is made on the platform. For pickup times, weather changes and cancellations, the operator’s own information applies.
